Class G Course 28 hours

The Class G Statewide Firearms Course is a 28 Hour Training Course conducted at Invictus Security Facility in Boynton Beach, Florida. This course will prepare you with the proper marksmanship fundamentals and firearms training to prepare you to work as an armed security officer in Florida.

Class G License 4 Hour Recertification

The State of Florida requires all armed security officers to complete 4 Hours of firearms Training. The Class G Statewide Firearms recertification is conducted every Sunday at 7:45 am (Except Holidays). This course will re-qualify G licensees for the Florida annual requirements under chapter F.S. 493.

Equipment Needed

Items required for all classes are as follows:

  • Bring a notepad, pen & highlighter for course notes
  • No Ammunition allowed in the Classroom, RANGE ONLY!
  • No open shoes. Sneakers or boots only
  • Long pants with strong belt – (i.e., jeans, duty or tactical pants) – *NO SHORTS OR SWEAT PANTS ALLOWED*
  • Crew neck t-shirt, dress or polo shirt – *NO TANK TOPS OR LOW CUT SHIRTS ALLOWED*
  • If you wear glasses, please bring them to class
  • Firearm (Available for rent $10)
  • 150 Rounds of Ammunition (RANGE DAY ONLY)
  • If you bring your firearm, you MUST have a min. of 3x Magazines (Semi-Auto) or 3x 6 Round Speedloaders (Revolver)
