  • A person is justified in using deadly force if they reasonably believe that using or threatening to use such force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the imminent commission of a forcible felony.

F.S. 790-Florida Statutes 790 are the laws pertaining to Florida’s concealed weapon license program.

Firearms Safety

Firearms Safety is the most important class students will learn in the Armed Security Training. Firearms Safety is a must and required when attending our training programs. Negligent discharges and accidents occur when any of the 4 safety rules are not applied. If applied properly there should be no mistakes made while handling firearms. At Invictus Armed Security Training, Firearms Safety is taken very seriously throughout the entire course. The safety of our students and instructors during our courses is our number 1 priority.

  • Never point a firearm at anyone or anything you do not intend to shoot whether or not it is loaded.
  • Always treat every firearm as if it is loaded and will fire.
  • Never place your finger inside the trigger guard or on the trigger unless you intend to fire.
  • Always be sure of your target and what is beyond it.

Marksmanship Fundamentals

Invictus armed security training will teach and fine-tune students’ marksmanship skills to prepare them for the firearms qualification. To become a better marksman, students must know and apply the basic fundaments of marksmanship. Just like any sport, the fundamentals are a very important foundation that all armed security officers must learn and understand to become a more precise marksman. Even advanced shooters and officers with years of armed experience have bad habits, but when you go back to the basics and apply the fundamentals properly you will become a better marksman. At Invictus firearms training we will give you the proper training to help you build a better foundation and teach you the proper fundamentals of marksmanship.
