Invictus has Security Instructor positions throughout Florida. Invictus is a Florida licensed security academy that provides educational programs for security licensing to diverse student body. The main campus is located in Palm Beach with academies located throughout the State of Florida. Through quality instruction, Invictus is committed to provide all our students with opportunities to develop the knowledge, understanding, and skills necessary for successful employment in the security industry.
Security Instructors
Florida Security Instructors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to deliver professional training services to students through:
- Preparing course plans and materials
- Delivering courses
- Monitoring attendance
- Advising students
- Recording grades and submitting reports
- Class Sales
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree, or 5 years of private security, former military or law enforcement experience
- Proven strong service orientation and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to make decisions and conduct courageous conversations
- Manage multiple tasks with ability to juggle priorities in complex situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate in a timely manner any changes or recommendations that could have impact on our service image or brand
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and to solve problems with a sense of urgency
- Computer proficient Mac & PC
- Must have or be eligible to obtain the following licenses: Florida D, G, MB, DI & K.
- Must have or be eligible to obtain American Heart CPR Instructor Certification, Non-Lethal Certifications

Security Training Manager
- Accountable for day-to-day operations of security academy
- Instruction of the Security Classes
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients
- Training, developing, and retaining employees
- Coordinating needed support services and solving problems that affect the management of the academy
- Meeting or exceeding financial, operational, and compliance goals
- Working with instructors to ensure high quality customer service
- Maintaining or overseeing weekly operating schedules and payroll for assigned personnel
- Curriculum Development
- Maintains accurate student records and files
- Ensuring the operation remains fully compliant with the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Licensing standards and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree, or previous security management, military or law enforcement experience
- At least 3 years of business management/operations/supervisory experience
- Proven strong service orientation and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to manage employee relationships and focus on development of direct reports
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team
- Ability to make decisions and conduct courageous conversations
- Manage multiple tasks with ability to juggle priorities in complex situations with a diverse team of employees on an ongoing basis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate in a timely manner any changes or recommendations that could have impact on our service image or brand
- In-depth understanding of operational performance measures (Instructor Assessments, Scheduling)
- Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment and to solve problems with a sense of urgency
- Computer proficient
- Must have or be eligible to obtain the following licenses: Florida D, G, MB, DI & K.
- Must have or be eligible to obtain American Heart CPR Instructor Certification, Non-Lethal Certifications
