The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services requires G Licensee’s must complete 4 hrs of annual G License Recertifications and submit an original Certificate of Firearms Proficiency (CFP) form during each year of the 2 year valid term of your license.
The expiration date on your license indicates the deadlines for submitting your proof of training.
FOR EXAMPLE:
Date of license expiration………………………………………………….JUNE 11, 2017
Date by which YEAR ONE must be completed and reported…….JUNE 11, 2016
Date by which YEAR TWO must be completed and reported…….JUNE 11, 2017
If you fail to REPORT the required training during the required time frames, your license will automatically be suspended and remain suspended until you submit an ORIGINAL CFP.
If you fail to COMPLETE the required training during the required time frames,
you will be required to complete the entire 28 hours of initial training again.
