Admiral Security Officer Jobs (Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale & Miami)

Admiral Security Jobs Responsibilities:
• Perform alarm response functions to include perimeter doors, interior doors and high value areas and other areas as defined
• Inspect and observe all assigned areas of responsibility for suspicious activity, safety and security hazards, criminal activity, unsafe conditions, persons in need of assistance or any other unusual condition and effectively report all such incidents immediately
• Greet, assist and interact with a variety of persons, including: employees, customers, visitors, contractors, public safety officials, and the general public
• Play a role in the access control of employees, visitors, and contractors
• Respond, compile and report all information in regards to theft, alarms, accidents and other incidents that may occur • Provide limited emergency response support
• Escort employees to their vehicles, either physically or virtually (i.e. telephone, camera)
• Operate multi-line telephone and radio equipment
• Monitor Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and alarm panels, where applicable
• Assist in the completion of audit and/or assessments within assigned areas of responsibility
• Provided limited access badge support which may include operating digital camera equipment, badge printer maintenance, coordination of badge activation and distribution of new and/or replacement badges
• Other duties as designated by Client and/or Admiral Security

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

A successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
• At least 18 years of age or older
• Possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Demonstrate a stable work history
• Pass an extensive background screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks, drug test, interviews
• Possess a valid Florida Security D License for unarmed and a Florida Armed Security G License for armed positions
• Interacting, pursuant to the contract, with a variety of persons including clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees, and the general public.
• Speak and read English, clearly and fluently.
• Providing building and premises security to the client’s property.
• Enforcing client and company policies and procedures.
• Making patrols and security checks.
• Regulating and directing traffic, as necessary.
• Must be able to lead others in a fast paced environment.
• Being the face of the company when interacting with staff and tenants as well as the go to person for any clients need.
• Ability to follow progressive discipline with staff and conducting trainings as needed for the betterment of the job site.
• Must be able to be flexible and operate on an ’emergency/on-call basis’. Additional Responsibilities for Utility Officers:
• Utility Officers are covering many different sites and must have the ability to learn and retain all training from all different assignments including supervisor positions

Director of Security – Downtown Miami (Brickell) Commercial Class A High Rise (Financial District) Full Time, Salary and benefits

  • Build, improve and maintain relationships with clients and employees, develop staff and coordinate needed support. Services to effectively meet operational goals.
  • Ability to follow progressive discipline with staff and conducting trainings as needed for the betterment of the job site.
  • Must be able to be flexible and operate on an ’emergency/on-call basis’.
  • Interacting, pursuant to the contract, with a variety of persons including clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees, and the general public.
  • Communicate staff needs through requisition and develop staff in both technical and professional skills through performance management.
  • Providing building and premises security to the client’s property.
  • Enforcing client and company policies and procedures as outlined by respective handbooks.
  • Making patrols and security checks.
  • Providing effective gate, access and exit controls to ensure compliance with the client’s instituted badge control or pass control system. (if applicable)
  • Responsible for payroll of all assigned security officers.
  • Ability to create several detailed reports weekly to provide to Admiral Management and client based on site functions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• At least 21 years of age or older
• Possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Demonstrate a stable work history
• Pass an extensive background screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks, drug test, interviews
• Possess 3-5 years of security industry, military, or law enforcement experience
